Here's Alices 78 Chevy Nova. We got this car for free as sponsorship. What a rust bucket. You could see through the floor
where the batteries went and you could see the tires through the rust spots in the back. Almost no brakes didn't help much
either.
Anyway for the amount of rust that was in this car it did remarkably well. On the first hit she got hung
up with a big Chrysler wagon (picture at the bottom). After they got free she was tearing everything up. She drove the car
up to 4TH in her heat before she gon ganged up on. There were 3 or 4 buddies in her heat and she took one of them out. So
then she was the target of the others. Ended up hitting one guy and getting stuck together. He held her there and his buddy
got a full track run at her. It broke her seat and she hit her face on the steering wheel. Since it knocked her tooth out
she jumped out. The funny thing was that one of the judges had to get in her car to shut it off. The thing just wouldn't
die. One of these years we'll get in the same heat as those guys and they'll have a bit of payback coming!
